Course
Description: This
three-day course is an in-depth introduction to the
techniques of nonlinear editing on the Avid Xpress Pro and
Avid Xpress DV systems. The class progresses through all
the basic phases of creating a sequence, including
inputting source footage, assembling and trimming
sequences, editing audio, creating titles, and outputting
a finished program. Class time is divided between
demonstration and hands-on practice. The course is
designed for video editors and developers of interactive
media.
Prerequisites: Completion
of a Windows or Macintosh introductory course or
equivalent experience is recommended; a background in
editing, production, or post-production is also
recommended.

Course
Description: This
two-day course is an in-depth introduces to the creating
visual effects on Avid Xpress Pro and Avid Xpress DV
editing systems. Topics include: creating multilayered
effects, keyframing effects, creating effect templates,
working with AVX plug-in effects, creating motion effects
and time warp effects, nesting layers, and working with
the Xpress 3D effects. Class time is divided between
demonstration and hands-on-practice.
Prerequisites: Completion
of the 119 Editing with Avid Xpress Pro and Avid Xpress DV
course or equivalent experience. |
